Build it in order
Read the entire plan before making the first cut or hole. The check under each step tells you when it is ready to move forward.
Choose a comfortable work height and table depth before selecting the frame.
Construct a rigid framed top separately; blocks are a foundation, not the whole table structure.
Excavate soft soil, compact base and make a pad wider than the table.
Place blocks with full bearing below each frame corner.
Center the framed top and use suitable straps or anchors for the materials and wind exposure.
Store soil low, keep tools in holders and add a lidded waste bucket.
