Privacy Policy
DiamondTrail Ranch is a general-audience family homesteading website. Ordinary reading does not require an account, and we do not operate a marketing email list.
Information collected automatically
Hosting systems may process IP addresses, request details, device information, and error data in server logs for delivery, reliability, security, and abuse prevention. We do not publish those records.
Optional analytics and cookies
Google Analytics loads only after a visitor chooses "Allow analytics" in our privacy panel. Selecting "Use necessary features only" keeps optional analytics disabled. Analytics may process page views, approximate region, device type, referral information, and interaction events. We do not send commenter emails, contact-message contents, or other deliberately submitted personal information to analytics. Visitors can reopen Privacy Choices from the footer and change the selection.
Advertising
Google advertising is currently disabled. Before it is enabled, the owner must review this policy and configure a Google-certified consent management platform where Google or applicable law requires one. Our reachable ads.txt file authorizes a seller; it does not mean ads are active.
Comments
When comments are enabled, we collect a display name, private email address, comment, article identifier, time, moderation status, and minimal abuse-prevention data. The display name and approved comment become public. Email remains private and is used only for moderation or communication about that comment, not marketing. We do not use Gravatar.
Comments may be retained while they remain useful and lawful. Spam and rejected submissions should be deleted on a documented schedule. A commenter may request removal or anonymization of a comment and associated private email by contacting us. Moderation records may be retained when needed to document abuse or an owner action.
Contact email
If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send. It is used to respond, investigate a correction, accessibility barrier, copyright concern, or other request. Do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed.
Embedded media, social, and affiliate links
YouTube players use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain where practical. A third party may receive information after you interact with an embed or follow a link to YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, or another external site. Ordinary social links do not load Facebook software on this website. Some Amazon links are affiliate links.
Security and retention limits
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no website or transmission method is completely secure. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, operational backups, legal obligations, disputes, or abuse prevention.
Children's privacy
The site is not directed to children under 13. Commenters must confirm they are at least 13 without providing a birth date. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so the owner can remove it promptly.
Privacy requests
To request access, correction, deletion, or removal of personal information, email Diamondtrailranch@gmail.com. We may need enough information to locate and verify the request, but we will not ask for unrelated sensitive records.

We update this page when website practices change and use a meaningful updated date.
